The one just called "Secret Invasion". It's only one volume. All the others are tie-in stuff.

Ask someone in the store next time. Don't make me come down there.

-surrogates. i liked it, i can already tell the upcoming movie will change a lot of things about it, hopefully it will still be decent.

i liked the messy art style, and at the end of the book there's a step by step process of how he does his work.

-persepolis: i haven't seen the movie yet but i really enjoyed the book, um, vive le revolution!

I recently read:

-Yotsuba&! Vol.7: It's still super adorable and hilarious. It especially had some stuff that had me laughing for a long time.

-Usagi Yojimbo: Yokai: It's a fully water coloured graphic novel and it is super pretty. And it's also a lot of fun. However it's kinda short, but not really too short. Still great!

-Superman: Escape from Bizarro World: I got this for 5 bucks from Strange Adventures so it was a pretty good deal. The artwork is cool and not typical superhero style. Eric Powell definitely draws a great Bizarro. And the story was fun. It was funny seeing Bizarro version of other Superman and DC characters.

I totally read a comic lately!

Well actually sort of over Christmas. but yea, Fear Agent is a awesome comic. Ive been digging everything from the funky art style to the interesting if not schizophrenic story, and the humor. for instance just look at any of the cover art done for the comic, there's one where he has a old style helmet on a cigar in his teeth and hes knifing a alien... thats pretty awesome.

so yea if yea like sci fi totally check it out

I recently read all three issues of Sky Doll. i had seen an image of one of the covers a while ago but had no idea where it was from, but i then spotted it at a comic book shop off bloor west and i finally learned what it was called. it's a weird comic about religion and there's a runaway carwash sexbot in it. it's more adult themed and weird.

'runaway carwash sexbot'. sounds like a bandname, someone learn the trombone, we have a world tour to plan.

Post X-mas Comic Re-cap!
Starman Omnibus, vol 1-
A rare gem of 90's superhero books. It has such a distinct take on all the topics it covers. It kind of perfected the "plain-clothes superhero", which I really enjoy.

TMNT Omnibus-
The first 15 or so issues of the Ninja Turtles. Such an awesome read for me. Experiencing the original stories that I've seen adapted so many times over for the first time. Awesome.

Action Philosophers!-
I jumped at this after a few issues of "Comic Book Comics" by the same guys. They have such a great way of presenting history. It's light enough for anyone to follow, and visual representations of these concepts really help to understand them better.
And... "6 Degrees of Sir Francis Bacon"

Pluto-
As awesome as everyone in the world said. Burned through the first 3 volumes already. The pacing is some of the best I've seen in manga. Slow and building, but there's always something happening.

Marvel Zombies. The ENTIRE thing, to date, including all the tie-ins and one shots. "VS Army of Darkness" wasn't even the best out of the side bits. If you have not read it, you definitely should.
